The Sooner Schooner was reimagined as a custom scenic centerpiece that celebrated one of college football’s most recognizable traditions. Fabricated by Stage Works, the oversized wagon installation was designed to serve as both a visual focal point and an interactive guest experience, bringing the iconic symbol of the University of Oklahoma to life in a hospitality setting. From the custom wagon structure and dimensional details to the integrated seating platform, every element was built to capture the spirit of the original while supporting the event environment.

Adding to the challenge was an accelerated production schedule. After receiving the request, Stage Works was tasked with designing, fabricating, finishing, and delivering the installation within the same week. Leveraging in-house fabrication capabilities and a coordinated production team, the project moved from concept to completed installation on an exceptionally compressed timeline, demonstrating the shop’s ability to execute custom scenic builds without sacrificing quality or detail.
