For the MTV Video Music Awards, Stage Works contributed scenic fabrication for Katy Perry’s performance environment, producing custom-built elements designed for the fast-paced demands of live broadcast production. The project required precision fabrication, detailed scenic finishing, and close coordination to ensure the set translated effectively both in person and on camera.
Built for a nationally televised audience, the final environment balanced bold visual impact with the technical requirements of a live awards show production. The project highlighted Stage Works’ ability to execute high-profile entertainment scenery on tight timelines while supporting large-scale creative concepts for broadcast and live performance.
