For the Lifetime Tour, Stage Works fabricated a series of custom scenic elements designed to become part of the performance itself. Working closely with the creative team, we engineered oversized hanging botanical sculptures and sculptural leaf forms that could safely support choreography, allowing performers to interact with the pieces through movement, balance, and aerial-inspired staging.
More than scenery, these elements functioned as performance partners throughout the production. The suspended flowers provided dramatic vertical moments for dancers to hang from and move through, while the custom leaf structures were designed to spin, support weight, and integrate seamlessly into the choreography. The result was a collection of scenic pieces that blurred the line between set design and performance, helping bring the visual world of the tour to life on stages across the country.
